Our role
Federal Basketball Association is the regional governing body responsible for the promotion, development and governance of basketball within the Islamabad Capital Territory.
It works with clubs, players, coaches, officials, educational institutions and public-sector partners to strengthen the sport at every level.
Aims & Objectives
Promote basketball for health, fitness, teamwork and community engagement.
Provide development opportunities for players, coaches, referees and officials.
Plan, sanction and conduct tournaments, leagues, championships and exhibitions.
Identify and nurture emerging talent through structured grassroots programmes.
Recognize, affiliate and support basketball clubs and member organizations in ICT.
Maintain compliance with Pakistan Basketball Federation and FIBA rules.
Promote sportsmanship, integrity, inclusion and equal opportunity.
Build partnerships and manage resources responsibly for sustainable development.
